What they don’t always see is the woman behind it.
I built Bonnie and Clyde Trucking LLC with determination, faith, hard work, and a willingness to learn every part of this industry. Transportation is not an easy business, and trucking will humble you quickly if you are not prepared to work, adjust, and keep moving when things do not go according to plan.
There have been long days, unexpected expenses, equipment decisions, driver challenges, contract negotiations, paperwork, certifications, and plenty of lessons along the way. But every experience has helped shape the company we are becoming.

But for me, this company has always represented more than trucks and freight.
It represents legacy.
Learning to Wear Every Hat
Being a business owner means there is no such thing as “that’s not my job.”
Some days I’m the owner.
Some days I’m operations.
Some days I’m recruiting drivers, reviewing applications, talking with customers, researching equipment, working on the website, sending invoices, handling paperwork, or making sure the next opportunity makes sense financially.
And sometimes I’m doing all of that before lunch.
That is the part of entrepreneurship people don’t always see.
You have to be willing to learn the things you don’t know, make difficult decisions, and protect the business you are building.
Every opportunity is not a good opportunity.
Every load is not a profitable load.
Every person is not the right person for your company.
Learning the difference has been one of the most important parts of this journey.
Growing With Intention
My goal is not simply to have trucks running up and down the highway.
I want Bonnie and Clyde Trucking LLC to be known as a professional, reliable, and capable transportation company that businesses can trust.
That means continuing to improve our equipment, expand our services, strengthen our partnerships, pursue certifications and contracting opportunities, and build the right team around us.
Growth has to make sense.
I would rather build steadily and correctly than grow quickly and spend years fixing mistakes that could have been avoided.
The Caricature Behind This Post
The caricature I’m sharing with this blog represents the many sides of being a business owner.
There is the professional side people see publicly, but behind that image is a woman constantly thinking about the next move, the next contract, the next truck, the next driver, and the next opportunity.
It represents ambition, personality, and the confidence that comes from knowing how far you have already come while still understanding there is much more ahead.
I’m proud of the progress, but I’m nowhere near finished.
The Road Ahead
There are still goals I want to accomplish, doors I want to open, contracts I want to obtain, and areas of transportation I want Bonnie and Clyde Trucking LLC to grow into.
And I know there will be more challenges along the way.
That comes with business.
The difference now is that every lesson has made me more prepared for the next level.
