Bonnie and Clyde Trucking LLC is looking for dependable Class A CDL drivers who take pride in their work, communicate professionally, and value safety.

Our drivers support agricultural, construction, bulk, specialized, and regional freight operations throughout North Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland.

Driver Qualifications

 

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL

  • Minimum 24 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience

  • Twic Card

  • At least 25 years old

  • Good motor vehicle record

  • Ability to pass required background and safety screenings

  • Strong communication and time-management skills

  • Ability to complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

  • Commitment to company and customer safety requirements

  • Reliable transportation to the assigned truck

Preferred Qualifications

 

In addition to the basic driver requirements, preferred applicants will have:

  • Hopper bottom or End Dump experience

  • Experience delivering to farms, mills, ports, construction sites, or industrial facilities

  • Familiarity with electronic logs and shipping documents

Company Driver — FAQ

  • A valid Class A CDL is required for company driver positions.

  • Applicants must have at least 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.

  • Drivers must be at least 25 years old.

  • Not for every position. A TWIC card is required for certain loads, customers, terminals, or assignments.

  • Bonnie and Clyde Trucking LLC provides both freight transportation and courier services for commercial, agricultural, construction, healthcare, government, and business customers.

    Our freight services include hopper bottom hauling, end dump hauling, power-only transportation, agricultural commodities, construction materials, and other regional freight needs.

    Our courier services include same-day delivery, scheduled route delivery, medical courier services, business-to-business delivery, document delivery, small-package delivery, and time-sensitive deliveries.

  • Most positions are local or regional, with drivers home nightly on many assignments. Routes vary by customer and contract.

  • Company drivers are typically paid 25% of the load, with weekly direct deposit.

  • This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Drivers are responsible for managing their own taxes and are not classified as W-2 employees.

  • Most work is Monday through Friday, but occasional weekend availability may be requested depending on customer needs.

  • Start times vary, but many assignments begin early in the morning.

  • Experience with hopper bottoms, end dumps, belt trailers, tankers, or step decks is preferred for those assignments. Some positions may require prior trailer-specific experience.

  • No. Applicants must already have the required commercial driving experience and be able to safely operate the assigned equipment. Company orientation and customer-specific procedures may be provided.

  • Yes. All applicants must pass an MVR review and meet company and insurance requirements.

  • Yes. Drivers must comply with all applicable DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements.

  • Applicants may need to provide a valid CDL, medical card, Social Security information, employment history, endorsements, and other onboarding documents.
