Agricultural & Bulk Commodity Dispatch for Owner-Operators and Small Carriers

YOUR EQUIPMENT IS SPECIALIZED.

YOUR DISPATCH SHOULD BE TOO.

Hopper Bottoms | End Dumps | Belt Trailer |

We built Bonnie and Clyde Dispatch for owner-operators and small carriers operating in a part of transportation that cannot be dispatched by rate and mileage alone.

Agricultural and bulk freight requires somebody behind the truck who understands the relationship between equipment, commodity, facility, lane and market.

Before we ever ask, “What does the load pay?” we want to know:

Does the commodity belong in the trailer?
Does the facility work for the equipment?
What did the trailer haul before this?
What will the truck have to do after delivery?
And after all of that, does the money still make sense?

THE RIGHT TRUCK. THE RIGHT COMMODITY. THE RIGHT MOVE.

WE ARE BUILDING A FREIGHT DESK, NOT A LOAD-BOOKING SERVICE.

There is a difference.

A load-booking service finds something available and puts it on the truck.

A specialized freight desk understands the operating profile of the carrier and works freight around it.

At Bonnie and Clyde Dispatch, every owner operator and small carrier we represent has a working profile that tells us more than where the truck is empty.

We want to know the equipment.

The trailer specifications.

The commodity history.

The markets you know.

The markets you avoid.

Your home-time requirements.

Your deadhead tolerance.

Your revenue targets.

Your preferred facilities.

Your operational limitations.

And what you expect your truck to accomplish.

We do not start with the load board.

We start with the operation.

Our Lane is Agricultural Bulk

  • Hopper Bottoms

Specialized dispatch support for owner-operators and small carriers, hauling free-flowing dry-bulk commodities. Common freight includes corn, wheat, soybeans, grain products, animal-feed ingredients, dry fertilizer and other compatible agricultural commodities.

We evaluate commodity restrictions, washout requirements, trailer specifications, facility schedules, weight limits and reload potential before presenting each opportunity

  • End Dump

Professional dispatch support for owner-operators and small carriers, hauling agricultural products and heavier bulk materials. Common freight includes grain, fertilizer, lime, sand, gravel, stone, soil, mulch, aggregates and other compatible commodities.

We evaluate commodity type, wet-line requirements, facility access, unloading conditions, weight limits, cycle times and reload potential

  • Belt Trailer

Dispatch support for bulk commodities requiring controlled, horizontal discharge from a belt trailer. Common freight includes mulch, wood chips, sawdust, biomass, compost, agricultural products, feed ingredients, fertilizer and other compatible bulk materials.

Before presenting a load, we review belt-trailer specifications, capacity, contamination restrictions, loading methods, unloading time and facility requirements.

How We Evaluate Specialized Freight

Every load has to make sense for the truck, not just look good on a rate confirmation.

Bonnie and Clyde Dispatch evaluates each freight opportunity based on commodity requirements, equipment compatibility, lane, deadhead, rate, delivery expectations, and reload potential before presenting it to the owner-operator.

Our goal is to help owner-operators and small carriers make informed freight decisions that support efficient truck utilization, stronger positioning, and better revenue performance.

Our Standard

Our Standard

We are building a dependable carrier network, not simply adding trucks to a list.

Bonnie and Clyde Dispatch looks for owner-operators and small carriers, who operate with professionalism, consistency, strong communication, equipment readiness, and respect for their own authority. We want carriers who understand that every load affects more than today’s revenue, it also impacts their reputation, broker relationships, safety record, and long-term business growth.

Our standard is simple: be prepared, communicate clearly, honor commitments, operate safely, and handle every load professionally from pickup through final paperwork.

We value owner-operators who take pride in their equipment, respond promptly, review load details carefully, provide accurate status updates, and maintain the documentation required to keep freight moving without unnecessary delays.

We are not interested in simply keeping a truck busy. We want to work with owner-operators who are serious about building a stronger operation, and creating reliable long-term freight relationships.

Professional trucks. Professional communication. Professional execution. That is the standard.

Full-Service Specialized Dispatch

  • Full-Service Specialized Dispatch

Bonnie and Clyde Dispatch provides full-service dispatch support exclusively for owner-operators and small carriers operating under their own DOT or MC number. Our service is designed for carriers running specialized equipment who need a more disciplined approach to freight selection, rate negotiation, lane planning, and day-to-day broker communication.

We focus on agricultural and bulk freight, where successful dispatch requires more than finding an available load. Every opportunity must be evaluated for the truck, the trailer, the commodity, the lane, and what happens after delivery.

  • What Our Dispatch Service Includes

Our freight desk supports owner-operators and small carriers with:

    • Freight sourcing based on equipment, location, operating area, and commodity fit

    • Rate negotiation with brokers and shippers

    • Load planning to reduce unnecessary deadhead and improve truck positioning

    • Broker communication from load inquiry through delivery

    • Commodity and equipment review before a load is accepted

    • Deadhead and reload evaluation to consider the full movement of the truck

    • Rate confirmation review for load details, requirements, and accessorial terms

    • Detention, layover, and TONU follow-up when applicable

    • POD and paperwork coordination to help support invoicing or factoring

    • Ongoing dispatch communication throughout the load cycle

  • How We Evaluate Freight

We do not evaluate a load by rate alone.

Before presenting an opportunity, we consider factors such as commodity requirements, trailer compatibility, pickup and delivery locations, loaded miles, deadhead, appointment requirements, rate, unloading expectations, reload potential, and the truck’s next position.

A load may pay well and still be a poor move if it creates excessive deadhead, puts the truck in a weak freight market, requires equipment the carrier does not have, or limits the next revenue opportunity.

Our objective is to help owner-operators and small carriers, look at the complete movement of the truck, not simply the first load available.

  • Dispatch Fee

Our full-service dispatch fee is 10% of the gross truck revenue on loads dispatched through Bonnie and Clyde Dispatch.

The fee applies to loads we source, negotiate, coordinate, and dispatch for the owner-operator and small carriers.

  • Owner-Operator/Small Carriers Control

The owner-operator and small carriers, maintains control of the business and makes the final decision on every load.

We present and evaluate freight opportunities, provide the relevant load information, negotiate when appropriate, and support the dispatch process. The owner-operator determines whether an opportunity works for their equipment, operating plan, and business.

  • What We Do Not Promise

    Freight markets change.

Bonnie and Clyde Dispatch does not guarantee a specific weekly gross, number of loads, rate per mile, dedicated lane, or continuous freight availability.

Available opportunities may vary based on season, freight market conditions, geographic location, equipment type, commodity demand, broker requirements, insurance requirements, operating history, and the owner-operator’s preferred lanes and schedule.

Our responsibility is to provide professional freight sourcing, careful load evaluation, strong communication, and informed dispatch support based on the opportunities available.

  • Our Dispatch Philosophy

We are not building a load-booking service.

We are building a specialized freight desk for owner-operators who understand that profitable trucking requires looking beyond one load at a time.

Commodity. Equipment. Lane. Rate. Deadhead. Reload. Position.

    Those pieces work together.

The Right Truck. The Right Commodity. The Right Move.
